1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using MusicCapture ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

MusicCapture provides a vinyl recording, identification, and digitization platform. The Service includes browser-based recording, automatic music identification (AcoustID, AudD), cover OCR, ID3 tagging, and library management.

3. Account and Subscription

You must create an account to use the Service. Subscriptions are billed via Stripe. Free tier: 24-hour retention. BYO-API: 48-hour retention. Full: 7-day retention (extendable with add-on pack). You are responsible for the security of your credentials.

4. Acceptable Use

You may only use the Service for legal purposes. You may not use the Service to reproduce, distribute, or share copyrighted material without appropriate rights. You retain ownership of recordings you create from records you lawfully possess.

5. API Keys and BYO-API

If you use the BYO-API plan, you provide your own API keys for OpenAI, AcoustID, and AudD. You are responsible for compliance with those providers' terms. MusicCapture does not store or log your API keys beyond what is needed to process your requests.

6. Limitation of Liability

MusicCapture is provided "as is". We do not guarantee uninterrupted service or accuracy of identification. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

7. Changes

We may modify these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via the Service or your registered email.
